What matches peach carpet?

we are moving into a house that has brand new peach colored carpet in it. but the walls are covered in ugly wallpaper that we are going to be taking down. what colors would look good on the walls along with the peach colored carpet? it%26#039;s not our first choice for a color of carpet, but since its brand new we%26#039;re not gonna replace it, we%26#039;re just gonna work with it. can anyone give a few suggestions of different colors that would look good with it? we will be painting the living room, family room, bedrooms, and the walls in the hallways and staircase. THANKS A LOT!

A light light pink, one that you can just barley see the pink tint to the paint, or a nice antique white, it is very soft and not glaring like regular white. Also try looking at more Wall paper, it is not always the first choice, but I have found some really pretty Wall paper, if you can take a picture of the carpet or go the store and bring home samples you might be able to find something, just make sure it is simple, being that peach is quite overwhelming as carpet, but I think it sounds pretty, you could then mix in reds and yellows in to your curtains and pillows. I think it will be lovely.
Reply:Peach carpet - sounds fun. My suggestion is to go with a neutral wall color. An off white would keep the room light then I would use accents that would pull out colors on the opposite side of the color wheel.

Reply:stick with the earth tones... brown... yellow... diff shades of orange that resemble the peach! maybe a green... but a suddle green!
Reply:Peach...nice..... Go light, ignore the peach and decorate your room in accents of the colour you want but keep the walls between cream and white, antique white is good. Make sure the windows and skirtings are either in true white or the same colour chosen but in high gloss. this help reflect light. dont forget the ceiling too keep white. peach is a 90%26#039;s fashion but dont go wrong by thinking you have to blend it. its carpet!!! its no the focal point. make sure you focal point is seen and accent around that. If its a hidious strong peach you can always throw a great rug over the top.
Reply:Eggshell off white and light sea foam green accents for fabric. I don%26#039;t think you will be happy with that peach carpet very long. I would have gotten a carpet allowance or had them replace it with Realtor beige, Berber long before you moved in.

Reply:I would recommend that you find a fabric or curtains that have a pattern on it that have peach as one of the colours in it. Then go from there,... There should be something on the fabric print that you can paint the walls to coordinate with the carpet colour.
