2 cans (15 oz) of peaches, drained

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 box of yellow cake mix

1/2 stick of butter

Vanilla ice cream (optional)

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Butter the bottom and sides of a casserole dish or pie pan. Place the remaining butter in microwave safe bowl and nuke it until it%26#039;s melted.

3) Spread the peaches across the bottom of the buttered casserole dish.

4) Sprinkle cinnamon over the peaches.

5) Sprinkle the cake mix across the peaches. Break up any large clumps.

6) Drizzle the melted butter across the cake mix.

7) Bake for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.

Serve with vanilla ice cream if you like.

Note: In step 5, it%26#039;s very important that you do not stir the cake mix into the peaches or else you%26#039;ll end up with soggy peach cobbler. Pour the cake mix (straight out of the box) on top of the peaches.

Reply:quick and easy.. Large can of peaches. a Jiffy cake mix, and butter and cinnamon. Pour peaches and about and the juice into and 8x8 casserole. sprinkle the cake mix over the top and put dabs of soft or thin slices of stick butter over the top. Sprinkle remaining juice from peaches over top. The Cinnamon is used according to taste. I sprinkle some over the peaches and over the top before butter and rest of juice. For an unexpected zing you can use just a very little bit of lemon juice in the peaches.
