My Pekingese swallowed a peach pit?

My little pekingese accidently swallowed a peach pit, he did not choke, just gulped it right down. What if anything should I do to make it go through quicker and easire?

i would just keep an eye on him. as long as hes acting fine . just provide lots of water and watch his poop to make sure it passes. if it hasn't passed in2-3 days then give your vet a call. or if your really worried then call your vet now and explain the situation and I'm sure he'll give you the same advise. happy poop watching!
Reply:it will come out in her stools just give lots of water
Reply:wats a pekingese
Reply:i dunno how to make it easier, that is a small dog. my grandma had a Dalmatian that did that several times and it came out naturally but i would be worried about a possible blockage. if it doesn't re-appear in a day or two i would get him/her to the vet. that could obstruct the bowels.
Reply:Check with your vet. You should probably give him some sort of doggy laxative before he grows a peach tree out of his butt...
Reply:Call the vet - if it was a bigger peach pit, the dog may or may not be able to pass it on its own and will need help. I would worry that it might get stuck in the dog's intestines, causing it to get a fecal impaction. It's well worth it to talk to someone familiar with dogs and their intestinal tract, especially in a dog that little.
Reply:she may pass it on her own but watch her very close. check her stools . if you do not see it in the next day or two get her to the vet they will take x-rays to see where the pit is and if they have to go in to remove it.if she starts to vomit, act funny gets diarrhea or is just laying around get her to the vet asap. it can become life threaten in just a matter of a few days.
Reply:nope
Reply:go to the vet and ask if there is a med. to make it go through faster and easier
