HELP! What color will make a cream with a peach tone to it look less peach?

I bought what i thought was cream and gave it to our painter. The next day it looked peach in the light! He already has all the trim and ceilings done so i am looking for a wall color that will bring out the cream and neutralize the peach.

HELP! What color will make a cream with a peach tone to it look less peach?
If you can live with the color (curtains pillows, lampshade, etc.), add green to your decor that will neutralize your color, or repaint: Bring the paint back to where you bought it, (providing you have other gallons) ask them to add a bit of green colorant to it (start with minimal amount and work up to desired tone)

Green will tone down the orange in the paint. And make sure the person who tints your paint record the added tint for when you need more.

Example:

orginal color is

1/64th tinting system

YOX 22 (yellow oxide)

OXR 3 (red oxide)

if too peachy, add smallest amount of green tint to tone down green (pls. make sure to not add more, too much will turn to grey , they should know the limit)

This may not mean anything to you or your painter, but the person who tints it should understand it. Good luck
Reply:Paint one wall in a matt cream. You probably have too much reflection going on. If you liked the color before you still do but not too much. One wall should do it. Good luck!
