From the Mario games ive always wondered... i mean, theyre both Toadstool Princess's, mainly Daisy for the older games and more recently Peach for most of todays games. But theres no link saying they are related, even tho they have both been named "Princess Toadstool". Any ideas?
Are Daisy and Peach related?
I don't think so, they are more of friends. Daisy is Princess of Sarasaland which is stated in Super Mario Land for the Gameboy, when Daisy gets kidnapped by Tatanga and Mario needs to rescue her. Peach is princess of Mushroom Kingdom. If they where sisters they would be royalty in the same kingdom, yet they could be cousins I guess, I don't Nintendo ever made it really clear on the topic.
Reply:According to the Prima Guide book for Mario Kart Wii, Peach and Daisy are cousins. Here's the direct quote:
"Hi I'm Daisy! Peach's cousin is louder and less proper, but she's always friendly to Mario and Luigi for saving her from Tatanga the Mysterious Spaceman." Report It
Reply:More than likely, they're just two different characters with no relation. Daisy was the original version, and once more detail was shown, I guess they found it necessary to make her blonde, but the change was so drastic, they changed her name to Peach.
Reply:They're sisters on thier fathers behalf , but daisy being the oldest is not aloud to rule the kingdom as peach is the kings real daughter and daisy is his his neice
Reply:Like back then alot of people said super mario but now its just mario I think its the same princess they have alot in common.
