How do i grow a peach tree?
If you mean the shell as in the hard wrinkled part of the seed then no it will not grow. Take the entire seed from a peach and plant it like any other seed about 1 inch deep and water it often until it starts to grow.

It would be best to plant several in small pots and transplant to garden later. Do not expect the seed to grow a peach like the one from the store as it will have a tendancy to come back different.

Expect to wait a few years for fruit.
Reply:Never heard of taking the seed apart. If that lives let me know about it.

You should take the seed %26quot;pit%26quot; %26quot;shell%26quot; and keep it cool and moist over the winter. Place it in damp peat moss. Then it will germinate when planted in the spring.

I think another way is to sand the pit a small amount to get it to germinate. %26quot;Scarify the seed%26quot;

You might get one or two peaches on the 3rd year and a good crop in about 5.

You only need one peach tree to get a crop too.
Reply:let seed dry , then plant it.in the ground.should show growth in a month
