What is the differnce between peach and apricot?
Peaches and apricots are totally different fruits with different flavours so it is difficult to say which tastes better, it will depend on who you ask. I prefer peaches myself but it is a close race :)

Apricots are actually more closely related to plums and no, they do not have a fuzzy skin like a peach. Dried apricots are very popular and are sweet and chewy. Try the brown dried apricot, it is easier to find the orange ones but they are treated with sulphates and may not agree with you.

Peaches are low in saturated fat, cholesteral and sodium, and are high in vitamin C, dietary fibre, vitamin A, niacin and potassium. They would be a helpful addition to a weight loss program.

Apricots are rich in beta carotene, which becomes vitamin A in your body, vitamin C, and has some niacin as well, and has potassium to, and are a good source of fibre also.

So, both are good for you.

Health wise, I prefer apricots because the dried fruit is a convenient portable snack.

Reply:Has the same fuzz but tastes totally different.

Peaches are much sweeter but both are good and both good for you.
Reply:Nectarines are my fave.
Reply:Peaches has a fury skin. Whereas apricots are smooth. Peaches are more sweet, whereas apricots have a sourness to them. You have to add much more sugar to the apricots when using them in cooking. As far as the nutrients go, I would think they have about the same as they both are citric type fruits.
Reply:YES!!!!

that is what a Dictionary is for
