PEACH SMOOTHIE with frozen peaches recipe????
How to make a SMOOTHIE with FROZEN fruits?? PEACH smoothie recipes??
Yeah, you just put the frozen fruit in. Then you need some kind of juice base...I like to use orange juice. If you like it icey, add ice cubes (4-6). If you like it creamy, add yogurt. I like mine icey. Here's my favorite smoothie recipe:
-1 banana
-10-15 frozen blueberries
-6-8 frozen strawberries
-Orange juice (just add enough so it blends...around 2 cups)
Then I add protein powder and ground flax seed...but this is just for health, optional.
You can add peaches to that, or just use peaches and banana, or peach banana pineapple coconut...anything like that. Experiment and see what you like. The best fruits for smoothies are strawberries, blueberries, bananas, pineapple, peaches, coconut...raspberries are OK but I don't like the seeds in them (makes it hard to drink). Never use grapes, apples, pears or citrus fruits (some of the juices are OK to use though).
Reply:I just had one for lunch today:
1 c. liquid (usually about 3/4 c. juice and 1/4 c. milk)...plus yogurt to match the fruit, or vanilla (small container or about 1/2-3/4 c.)... then I toss in the frozen fruit and a few ice cubes. Today, I used frozen mango and peach yogurt:) .... You can put in a banana, if you want, but it's not necessary...... I keep bags of frozen mango, blueberries, cherries, peaches %26amp; strawberries, and buy flavored yogurt to match them......
Reply:I'm honestly not sure I've ever messed up a smoothie. :)
Yeah, you can throw in frozen fruit that's still frozen.
I throw in whatever fruit I've got Strawberry/Banana is a good combo, you could add peaches to that. All berry is good. I just put in a handful of each fruit. Kiwi and mango works fine.
Then I add a cup or two of orange juice.
I've never tried plums, grapes, or apples. I have used nectarines, apricots, and even cherries (cherries don't blend too well). You can add a little sugar or honey but you really don't need it.
I usually add a little ice. You can also (and this really turns it into something other than a smoothie but it's darn tasty once in a while) a scoop of orange sherbet. I'd leave out the ice when you do that.
Reply:basic recipe: frozen fruit (still frozen) a few tablespoons of yogurt (plain or vanilla), and juice apple or orange work depending on the fruit flavors. and blend away.
Reply:OK so just put the black Berry's in and add vanilla ice cream then add milk and blend awsome smoothy.
mix it around a bit
