Looking for a good quick Peach Cobbler recipe?

I am looking for a good easy Peach Cobbler to make using frozen Peaches

Looking for a good quick Peach Cobbler recipe?
thaw peaches, place in bottom of large pan. Usually I use 2 cans of peaches for this, so you%26#039;d have to add water- maybe one cup?? melt 1 stick butter (1/2 cup). take out one cake mix (yellow cake, or spice cake is good) and spread it over the peaches. Drizzle the melted butter over top. Cook at 350 I think it is, for about 50 min.
Reply:This is a recipe for Panic Cake not Cobbler. Report It

Reply:boy, I wish I could remember all the details.. so maybe someone after me can help.. I think it was a Betty Crocker Recipe...

Going off of memory:

Grease pan... put in dry yellow cake mix (save some to sprinkle on top) then poor peaches on top .. all over (I always used canned.. it%26#039;s juicier.. so you may want to add extra butter or sprinkle sugar to make it juicier)

Then use probably a stick of butter and cut it into chunks and place all over peaches.. then bake.. probably at the 350 .. for about 20 - 20 minutes... It melts the butter and peaches into the mix.. for the crust... yummy

Sorry I couldn%26#039;t help more.. but, maybe someone else remembers this super easy recipe. maybe on the betty crocker website .. I did a quick search and didn%26#039;t find it.. but this site had a similiar recipe.

Reply:1 quart fresh or frozen sliced peaches, sweetened (about 3/4 cup sugar)

1 stick real butter, melted in 13 x 9 casserole.

Mix in large bowl 1 cup self rising flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk (evaporated is good)

1 teaspoon vanilla

Pour into melted butter in casserole but do not stir.

Add fresh or frozen peaches on top of batter, do not stir, batter will come up thru fruit and make a wonderful crust. Bake 350 degrees 30-45 mins or until light brown with sweet whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Reply:Easy Peach Cobbler

If desired, use 2 (32 ounce) cans of peaches in place of fresh peaches. If doing this, use peach syrup instead of water and then omit the white sugar from recipe. Also, yellow cake mix can be substituted for the white.%26quot;

Original recipe yield: 12 servings.

Servings:12 (change)

--------------------------------------...

INGREDIENTS:

12 fresh peaches, pitted and sliced

1 cup water

1 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1/2 cup butter

--------------------------------------...

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Spread peach slices evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish. If using canned peach juice, pour 1 cup of it over peach slices. If using fresh peaches, combine water and sugar in a small bowl. Stir to dissolve, then pour mixture over peaches.

Sprinkle cinnamon over peach slices, followed by dry cake mix. Top cake mix with pats of cream cheese. Dot cobbler with butter or margarine.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, until golden.

Reply:Well I guess it%26#039;s peach cobbler.

You just need a box of plain white cake mix and peaches (canned perferably, but I guess you could thaw out the frozen ones).

Pour the peaches into a glass cassarole dish and simply pour the dry cake mix over top (don%26#039;t mix) but kinda poke the cake mix so that it absorbs some of the peach juice.

Id say 350 for like 20 minutes. Or when the top starts to turn light brown.

For as simple as it is, ITS SOOO GOOD!
Reply:Here are several to choose from~I made the Panic Cake with Blueberries this week.

Simple Peach Cobbler~

4 cups peeled, sliced peaches

2 cups sugar, divided

1/2 cup water

8 tablespoons butter

1 1/2 cups self-rising flour

1 1/2 cups milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine the peaches, 1 cup sugar, and water in a saucepan and mix well. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Put the butter in a deep baking dish and place in oven to melt.

Mix remaining 1 cup sugar, flour, and milk slowly to prevent clumping. Pour mixture over melted butter. Do not stir. Spoon fruit on top, gently pouring in syrup. Batter will rise to top during baking. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.

To serve, scoop onto a plate and serve with your choice of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Crock Pot Cobbler~

3/4 cup all-purpose baking mix

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 can evaporated milk

2 teaspoons margarine or butter, melted

2 eggs, slightly beaten

3 large, ripe fresh or canned peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped

2 teaspoons vanilla

3/4 teaspoon) cinnamon

Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Lightly grease slow cooker or coat with non-stick cooking spray. Combine baking mix and sugars in a large bowl. Stir in milk, margarine and eggs. Add peaches, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir until ingredients are well incorporated. Pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Serve warm.

Panic Cake with Peaches~

Spread peaches in a 9x13%26quot; pan. Pour dry yellow cake mix over the peaches. Drizzle 1 cup of melted butter over the cake mix. Place pecans or walnuts on the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. This is not a true cobbler~just a simple recipe that is similar to a cobbler and can be used with any fruit or pie filling. Apple is better with spice cake :)
Reply:This ones quick, but its not with frozen peaches, but i figured id let u know anyways:
