Are my peach faces breeding?

My peach face love birds have been acting different to their usaul selves. The darker one, which I believe is male, has become very protective. The lighter, believed to be female, has been ripping paper up and placing it into the home made breeding box ( I will replace this ASAP with a proper love bird breeding box). They have been spotted twice doing what seems to be hoping on the good foot and doing the bad thing.

Are my peach faces breeding?
It sounds like you%26#039;re gonna be a grandma, real soon. I wouldn%26#039;t bother changing the box, we%26#039;ve had our sets make nest in everything from a jacket pocket(we didn%26#039;t see that one coming) to small cardboard boxes we gave them. We just made sure they always had plenty of Cuttle bones and fresh paper. The male took care of her pretty much. The one time I changed the box after one of my little females started her nesting, she became egg bound and had to have surgery...very expensive, very dangerous. Good luck
Reply:all are positive signs of breeding behaviour in lovebirds, so things are looking good :)

Are you well educated on what%26#039;s required for breeding birds though? i suggest you do some research :)
Reply:they are going to breed

all the signs are there

you should be expecting eggs with in a few days depending on when they last mated

to tell the sexes of the birds push your finger just above the tail feeling around for a bone

if theres a bone its a male and if there is no bone its a female
