Help with Peach Cobbler?

My man loves peach cobbler and I really am not much of a baker but would love to make it for him anyways. I do love to cook for him daily so I do know how to do that much ;) I am just on a hunt for a easy recipe, one I cant flop but at the same time he will just fall in love with. please help me out ;) thanks much, Dea

Reply:here is an ez peach cobbler recipe. i use this in a pinch or just something that requires a little less time.





1 box french vanilla cake mix and all the stuff recipe requires


1 large can peach slices


1 tbsp corn starch.


1/2 cup flour


1/4 cup brown sugar


3 tbsp butter


1 tsp cinnamin





in a pan empty contents of peach slices syrup and all. disolve the cornstarch while the surup is still cold. start heat and bring to a boil and set in fridge to cool. in a small mixing bowl mix the butter, flour sugar and cinnamin till it resembles course crumbs. prepare the batter according to package. grease and flour a 9x13 baking dish(spray works). add batter then peach mixture then crumbs and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35-40 min. let cool and serve

1/2 cup butter or margarine


1 (15.6-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury® Cranberry Quick Bread %26amp; Muffin Mix


2 tablespoons grated orange peel


2 (29-oz.) cans peach slices in light syrup, drained, reserving 1 cup liquid


1 egg


1/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries


1/3 cup sugar





1. Heat oven to 375°F. Place butter in ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Place in oven until butter is melted. Remove from oven.


2. Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine quick bread mix, 1 tablespoon of the orange peel, 1 cup reserved peach liquid and egg; stir 50 to 75 strokes with spoon until mix is moistened. Drop mixture by spoonfuls over butter in pan; spread slightly without stirring. Arrange peaches over mixture. Sprinkle with cranberries.


3. In small bowl, combine sugar and remaining tablespoon orange peel; mix well. Sprinkle over fruit.


4. Bake at 375°F. for 50 to 55 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown. Cool 20 minutes. Serve warm. If desired, serve with vanilla ice cream.

1 cup flour


1 cup sugar


1 cup milk


2 teaspoons baking powder


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/4 cup melted butter


1 can (303 size) sliced peaches





Put 9 x 9 baking pan with butter in 350 F oven.


Blend all dry ingredients in bowl, stir in milk.


Get baking pan out of oven, put batter in on top of butter, pour entire can of peaches and juice over batter. If desired sprinkle with nutmeg gently.


Bake at 350 about 45 minutes. Serve with scoop of ice cream, whipping cream, or cool whip topping. Best served warm, but cold is good too.

pour half of the cake and butter mix into a pan and press down to make the bottom crust


pour in peach mixture


pour the rest of the cake and butter mix over the top and spread it out





bake at 350 degrees for approx. 45 minutes or until golden

Heat oven to 375,


Melt 1 stick of butter in a glass baking pan


Combine -


1 cup sugar


1 cup self rising flour


1 cup of milk





When butter is melted, pour in 1 large can of sliced peaches in syrup, pour dough mixture over peaches and bake for 45 to 55 min or until well browned and bubbly.





Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Mix ingredients below together:


1 large can freestone style peaches [light syrup]


1 cup sugar or more to your taste


2 tablespoons cornstarch


1 teaspoon cinnamon


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1/4 teaspoon salt





line 8x8 pan with 1 premade pie crust, pour mixture over crust. Dot top with 4 or 5 thin slices of butter or margarine.


Cover with other premade pie crust. Cut slash down center of crust and small slash on each side. {to vent} Cook at 350 for about 45 minutes until sauce oozes from slashes.

1 cup all-purpose flour


1/4 cup white sugar


1/4 cup brown sugar


1 teaspoon baking powder


1/2 teaspoon salt


6 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces


1/4 cup boiling water





MIX TOGETHER:


3 tablespoons white sugar


1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).


In a large bowl, combine peaches, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss to coat evenly, and pour into a 2 quart baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.


Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Blend in butter with your fingertips, or a pastry blender, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in water until just combined.


Remove peaches from oven, and drop spoonfuls of topping over them. Sprinkle entire cobbler with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake until topping is golden, about 30 minutes.
