Last year our peach tree gave about 150 peaches.. this year I already counted (estimated :o) about 600 peaches on that one tree. However, we were only to get about 50-60 ripe ones last year before the ants ate the rest. I don%26#039;t want that to happen again.. obviously, I don%26#039;t want to use any chemicals to prevent that from happening. Anyone know any non-chemical ways to prevent ants/insects from eating your fruit trees?
How do I keep ants off my lovely peach tree?
I have had this same problem on our peachtree, I used a soap/water solution and it seemed to work for me. I think that the ants are attracted to the aphids that where sapping the sap from the blossoms, once I sprayed the solition the aphids dispappered and then so did the ants. hope this helps
Reply:Soapy water spray the tree
Reply:DE diatamaceous earth
google it to learn more
completely non toxic
Reply:Try Tanglefoot, as far as I know you can get it at any nursery or perhaps Lowes/Home Depot
It%26#039;s sticky stuff that the bugs can%26#039;t cross. You do have to prune any branches that touch a fence, wall or anyplace the ants can crawl up to access the tree that way.
Reply:You might try putting a ring of vaseline jelly completely around the trunk closing off all routes.
Reply:Whitewash the lower part of the trunk. You have to repeat it once in a while though, specially after it rains.

I need great!!!!!!!!!!! Peach cobbler recipes with a unique ingredient that will be the talk of the holiday?
Easy Peach Cobbler
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sugar
pinch of salt
2 cups milk
1 lb. can of peaches (any fruit can be used)
1 stick of butter, 4 oz.
Mix all dry ingredients well. Then add milk and vanilla. Mix well. Boil and sweeten fruit to taste. In a 12 inch deep Dutch oven, melt 1 stick of butter.
Pour the batter in first then add fruit.
Cover and cook with coals on top and bottom. Or cook in a deep casserole in oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Reply:There doesn%26#039;t seem to be a %26quot;unique%26quot; ingredient in this recipe, but it looks lovely and yummy in the picture...
%26quot;Peach Cobbler%26quot; - 6 servings
4 cups thinly sliced, peeled peaches
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup milk or light cream
1 egg; beaten
1) In 10x6%26quot; baking dish, combine peaches, 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch. Let stand while preparing cobbler batter.
2) Preheat oven to 350*. In medium bowl, combine flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, baking powder and salt. With pastry blender or 2 knives used scissor-fashion, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk and egg to form a soft dough. Drop dough in 6 equal portions atop peaches.
3) Bake 40 minutes or until topping is golden. Serve warm or cold.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think you could really call this a cobbler, but it is a peach dessert that I take to many family gatherings and potlucks. It is often requested, is easy, and yummy. Everyone loves it and I never take home leftovers. You can serve it with ice cream or whipped cream if you like.
Fabulous Crock Pot Peach Dessert
Lightly grease the crock pot. Place 2 - 1 pound bags of frozen sliced peaches in the crock pot. Sprinkle on 2 TBS of cornstarch, toss to coat peaches. Drizzle on 1 tsp vanilla. Sprinkle on 1/2 cup brown sugar,1/2-1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 box of dry white cake mix. Drizzle 1/2 cup of melted butter over the top. Cover and cook on high for 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
Reply:Well, I know I seen a really good one, but memory has escaped me right now. Below is 46, try to experiment. The one I was looking for called for fresh peaches - soaked overnight in Peach Brandy (do NOT drain) and replace the Vanilla extract with Almond. Look thru these and maybe you can come up with something similar. I will keep trying to find it.

Olive Garden's Peach Bellini Iced Tea?
Olive Garden%26#039;s Peach Bellini Iced Tea... does anyone know how to make this??
Olive Garden%26#039;s Peach Bellini Iced Tea?
I don%26#039;t know Olive Gardens recipe.
Peach Bellini
1 can of cling peaches
2 c Champagne (or sparkling Prosecco sparkling wine)
1 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons sugar or 2 sugar cubes
mint sprig for garnish
Blend peaches in blender with lemon juice and sugar if not using cubes
Pour mixture into a champagne flute.
Gently, top off the flute with the Champagne or sparkling wine, so that there is a layer of peach juice and a layer of champagne/wine.
If using sugar cubes, drop the cube in glass when serving. Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint.
Alternate recipe: Replace peach puree with juice or with peach schnapps and a dash of grenadine. Not as pretty, but still pretty tasty.

Where can i buy diet rite peach soda?
a couple years ago some friends brought back some peach diet rite from oklahoma. i live in michigan and can%26#039;t find it anywhere in michigan. does anyone know what specific store/city/state you can get PEACH flavored diet rite?
thanks!
Where can i buy diet rite peach soda?
i would check with diet riet to see who distributes their colas. then you have to check with the grocery store to see who stocks the flavors. diet rite has lots of flavors . it%26#039;s usually in larger grocery stores .. there are about 10 flavors of this stuff.
do you have peapod delivery there ? you might be able to order it online ?
i do know that stores will ship it . i ordered a canned coffee , mjb hawaian kona blend from CA and had it shipped fedex until the company stopped making it .
i can now get superior kona blend from my sara lee thrift outlet.
procurement is not easy work

What goes with peach champagne?
I%26#039;m going on a picnic and i want to bring some food or snacks that are vegan (meat, dairy, and egg free) that will go with my favorite peach champagne..
What goes with peach champagne?
Peaches and cream
Reply:Where did you find peach champagne? That sounds awfully good. No, I%26#039;m not vegetarian or vegan, but dang that sounds good.
Reply:How can your champagne be vegan itself? You exploited those poor yeast by dumping them into a sugar-laced juice and then just when they had nearly killed themselves in their own excrement of alcohol you ruthlessly filter them out and dump them into a health food store as a dehydrated nutrition supplement.
Talk about exploitation.
Reply:chocolate (or the chocolate substitute, carob) dipped strawberries
Reply:What a perfect waste of a peach champagne .. . no fine cheese, or gravlox with capers. Bring whatever you wish as you%26#039;ve wasted a wonderful experience with your limitations. In wishing to be chic, some cannot get past the fact they have the unrefined palate of a goat.
Reply:spicy stir fry . . . it will be good cold
also, some really dark chocolate
Reply:What about a mango chutney and whole wheat crackers? Something a little sweet with a little salty would work.
Reply:You don%26#039;t deserve peach champagne if you are going to screw it up with you crazy veggie head ways.
Reply:Pomegranite caviar. Mmmmm!

Anyone have a great recipe for peach bread?

Why does a peach have "fuzz?"?
Most types of fruit are not %26quot;fuzzy%26quot; except for the peach.
Why does a peach have %26quot;fuzz?%26quot;?
I%26#039;m not certain, but it%26#039;s probably an adaptation to insulate the precious seed inside the fruit from cold weather.
Reply:They don%26#039;t get old enough to grow a real beard....LOL
Reply:Unfortunately, we cannot ask the peaches themselves this question, so we can only speculate. Some think the fuzz protects peaches against insects and diseases, others guess it might shield against dehydration and sun. Most commercial growers know customers aren’t very fond of fuzz, and use brushers and washers to remove the stuff before it gets to market. If you like your peach fuzzy, shop at local farmers’ markets from farmers who leave the fuzz on.

A way to plant a white peach tree.?
I need a way t plant a white peach tree. We used to have one a long time ago and my dad was just eating one and I wondered how I could use the seen inside of it to plant a white peach tree. Is there a certain way? If there isn%26#039;t a way just tell me but please don%26#039;t use smart ellic answers like %26quot;plant it and water it.%26quot;
A way to plant a white peach tree.?
What will happen if I plant a peach pit?
If you take the pit from a peach and plant it, a peach tree may grow. The pit should be put 2 to 3inches underneath the soil. The best time to plant a peach tree is in the fall. It can take a whole season for the tree to begin growing, so you may get a plant the following spring. It takes about three years for the tree to begin producing fruit, but the fruit you get may look nothing like the peach the pit came from. It%26#039;s fun to try it anyway. Who knows, you may get an interesting new variety!
Further Tips for Successful Peach Pit Sprouting
The orientation of the pit is not important--the roots and the sprouting top will sense the right way to grow.
Good quality soil is important--a good balance of sand, silt %26amp; organic matter. Potting mixes are fine as long as the organic matter content is not too high. A successful gardener can advise you here.
The soil should be firm around the pit. The soil should be slightly moist to the touch. If you squeeze the soil in your hand and water drips out, it is too wet (unless you just watered). Again, the typical amount for good growth as a seasoned gardener can advise you. If the soil is saturated with water continuously, the pit tends to rot.
Note: some pits will not germinate even with perfect care. So try pits from several different peach varieties.
Question: Can I plant a peach pit in a large container in the house?. When will I
see signs of growth?
Yes, you can plant pits directly in soil in house. It is hard to predict when you might see growth. Sometimes after 2 or 3 weeks, sometimes after 2 or 3 or more months. Note: peach pits sometimes germinate better after a cold treatment (see below).
Cold treatment: put pit in zip lock bag with enough good quality soil to cover. The soil should be just barely moist. The soil should be sandy rather than dark organic type. Put the zip lock bag in your refrigerator (temperature 34 F to 42 F). It will generally take 2 to 3 months to see growth. Transplant to a pot once the root is a 1/2 or more in length. This procedure is called stratification.
If the pit has dried out for some days after removal from the fruit, it is a good idea to soak the pit overnight in tap water before doing approach 1 or 2 given above.
Some peach varieties germinate easily, some slowly, some not at all.
Reply:With such a good complete answer from sknyme I normally wouldn%26#039;t reply, but if you want to be sure to grow a good peach I would go to a mail order/ online catalog and order a tree. If you grow from a pit you might even get a yellow fleshed peach instead of white. Gurney%26#039;s Stark Bros. Henry Feild are all very good for trees. I have several fruit trees from them and have been buying from them for 35Yr. Don%26#039;t mean to leave out other good companies just these are the ones I have bought from.

Yes definitely, as long as your skin isn%26#039;t too pale :)
Reply:Not that shade of yellow. It would have to be more of a buttercream yellow, a paler yellow, for it to go with peach.

What eats my peach leaves? Deer? Bugs?
I have 8 new peach trees. They vary in height from 5 to 7 feet tall. We have many deer that visit the back yard. Some of the branches look like they have been broken off. I have also notices that several of the trees have lady bugs on them. One of the trees had a catapillar at the base of the tree. Can sevin be used to reduce the possibility of insects on the leaves?
What eats my peach leaves? Deer? Bugs?
Yes, you can spray seven on the peach trees to kill the insects. Will do a good job on the tent caterpillars too. Your main problem is the deer. The damage looks like they pull it off like you described. You can stop the damage if you buy a spray called hinder. I spray it and it keeps the deer away. It%26#039;s a must on a small tree because one big bite from a deer and all the leaves are gone and the tree will die.
Oh, make sure when you mix the seven up in your sprayer that you don%26#039;t put to much in. Seven mixed to strong will become toxic to the leaves and burn them in the sun.
Reply:Sevin can be used, but it will also kill the beneficial lady bug. I think your main problem is the deer. There are a variety of deer deterrents for sale that should work to keep them away from your trees.

What Can I Do With This Peach Wine?
It%26#039;s 375ml (slightly less than 2 cups) and the label says %26quot;This is a blend of white wine and peach in a light, sweet liqueur style. Use over vanilla ice cream, marinate fresh peaches or use as an after dinner drink.%26quot; It%26#039;s probably crap as a table wine - any suggestions in how to turn it into a sauce? It might be good on pork.
What Can I Do With This Peach Wine?
I recommend using it in a peach sangria, combine it with peach schnapp%26#039;s, lemon lime soda, slice of lemon, lime, apple, peach and/or marichino cherries.
Reply:Drink it cold as an desert wine, or mix it with sprite as a spritzer. Personally, I%26#039;m a fan of peach wine and would drink it as a dessert wine.
Reply:Try making a wine sorbet. Just simply make a simple syrup( boil sugar and water) let it cool, empty it all into a little ice cream maker for twenty-five minutes and wa-la

Can I make Peach Cobbler ahead?
We are having a BBQ tomorrow and I want to make Peach Cobbler from scratch. Can it be prepared ahead so I am not making it while I have people here. I still want it to be warm when served but I don%26#039;t want to be putting it together and not enjoying my friends and family because I am cooking.
Can I make Peach Cobbler ahead?
Sure it can. I make blackberry cobbler and throw the leftovers in the refrigerator. Though you might want to throw it in the oven to crisp up the top because the microwave won%26#039;t crisp it.
Reply:The best would be made just before you will eat it. However, I have had some made before it is just soggy

I have a peach tree and the leaves has started coming out and they are all curled up what can I do to help my?
my peach tree leves are all curled up and the tree looks sick and I would like to know just what it is I need to do to make the leaves nicer. I was told it has curley leaf
I have a peach tree and the leaves has started coming out and they are all curled up what can I do to help my?
Your trees have %26quot;peach leaf curl%26quot;. It%26#039;s a fungus type disease and you can%26#039;t control it until next fall. I garden using only those type controls ok with organic standards.
I have had trees with this disease, and you will probably still get a nice crop of peaches, but the tree itself will look awful, and may even lose a lot of the curled leaves.
There are 2 choices on sprays. One is %26quot;lime-sulphur%26quot;, the other is %26quot;bordeaux%26quot;. Both are ok for an %26quot;organic%26quot; garden, but you want to keep your kids inside on the day you spray.
You need to read the directions on the bottle, mix the stuff up and apply it once a month, come fall. You need to give the trees at least 2 applications, but 3 or even 4 is better. The stuff has to applied BEFORE any blossoms or leaves come out in the spring. As soon as your trees lose their leaves in the fall is when to apply it.
You must rake up ALL fallen leaves in the fall, and be sure to remove any mummy fruits from the trees. Take these infected leaves and put them in the trash.
Every fall you want to spray for peach leaf curl. It may take 2 years to control it.
When I apply this spray, I often add to the mix some horticultural oil. The oil will smother overwinter insects and egg cases.
Hope this helps.

EDIT:
World 3 Level 2:
Use Rage Vibe on the Fishing Boo to kill it. Then use Joy Vibe from where the
info block is and find a Toad. Puzzle Piece B5 is through a wall on the right as
soon as you enter. When you reach the donut lifts, there is a false ceiling near
the end of them that leads to a Toad. Go to the bottom and there is a pipe in the
false wall. Use the Rage Vibe to light the torches and open the door. Go along
your normal route then when you reach a set of upsidedown pipes, go up the middle
one (one with blocks underneath). Use the Joy Vibe tornado to clear the smog and
go for the Toad. The pipe takes you back to the other side so you can return to
the previous area. Walk across the weak platforms by holding L or R then jump off
of them to reach the goal.

When will my peach tree bear fruit?
I bought Sheila in mid-May from Home Depot. I have kept her very well-watered and she has so far grown about two feet, making her somewhere around 7 feet tall. I plan to fertilize her within the next week or so. Will my peach tree bloom next spring and produce fruit?
When will my peach tree bear fruit?
I think you should hold off on fertilizing her this late or she could die back or winter kill. Fertilizing especially with nitrates can spur growth when she should be going dormant for the season. Peaches bear fruit early from about 3-4yrs. which is about %26quot;Sheila%26#039;s%26quot; age. You should be the proud %26#039;papa%26#039; of a few peaches this time next year. RScott
Reply:Depends on the age of the tree. Some peaches won%26#039;t produde until 5 yr. old. But since most of the trees sold are nearly old enough look for fruit next summer. I would not fertilize this late in the year. The tree is going dormant soon. If you do feed, use a low nitrogen fertilizer so you don%26#039;t promote leaf growth this late. At 7%26#039; your tree is probably old enogh to have a crop next year. You may want to thin the fruit the first couple of years, I had trouble with branches breaking from the weight.
Reply:It should, as long as properly pollinated......birds and the bees you know.--And you don%26#039;t live in an extreme climate.
Reply:You need a 2nd tree for cross pollination.

When to trim peach trees?
I have a dwarf peach tree (planted one year ago. It is approx. 7 ft. tall, 6 ft. around. I would like to force growth upward ( some branches are hangng down).
When to trim peach trees?
I too am baffled by the desire to grow the tree upward. If the tree is taller than your reach... it isn%26#039;t performing correctly. Normally I recommend cutting those branches back.
Which leads to your question. I disagree with the other answerer%26#039;s, I think that peaches are %26quot;bleeders%26quot;, which means if they are cut too early, that water will leak from the cuts you make. Possibly leading to later damage. I think cutting them after they are done blooming is best. You get better pollination, and perhaps a healthier tree too. Be sure to fertilize the tree in the spring.
If you have poorly placed branches (ones too low) remove them as newer, better placed branches develop.
I hope that this helps
Good luck-
Reply:In the fall or the winter is the best time since they are dormant in temperate climates.
I am not sure why you want a dwarf tree to grow upward if it is already at seven feet high. The idea of a dwarf is that you can pick the fruit without a ladder.
If you want to, then look for vegetative buds that are pointing up and leave those while getting rid of those downward branches.
Reply:At the beginnning of spring when you are sure the sign of frost is gone.
Reply:Best time to trim them is in December or January.

Banana Bars with Mascarpone Frosting
Posted by Anna on 27 Sep 2007 | Tagged as: Bar Cookies
It’s California walnut season, which means most of the walnuts being shipped right now are at their best. This is a good thing because I was getting tired of taking bad walnuts back to the store. Surely the guy at the customer service desk now thinks of me as the crazy walnut lady who came in every couple of days with an opened bag of walnuts saying “These just weren’t up to par….can I try another bag?” or “Golly, I don’t know. This is my second bag. Maybe I’m developing an aversion. Could I just try one more bag?” The madness has ended and walnuts are pretty darn good right about now.
So that’s my long-winded excuse for choosing walnuts over my beloved Texas pecans. I hope all the pecans reading Cookie Madness don’t feel bad.
This recipe was inspired by a reader who requested a good frosted banana bar recipe. I’ve made tons of banana bars in my life, but never settled on a “best of the best” and didn’t keep any good notes. After some research, I found that the most beloved banana bar on the Internet was similar to this one which originally (as far as I know) appeared in the Betty Crocker Cookie Book….the red one that used to be called the “Cooky” book.
My version uses half of the ingredients and is baked in a 9 inch square pan. It also includes nuts (so they’re optional, of course) and a mascarpone frosting.
Banana Bars with Mascarpone Frosting
1 cup (4 1/2 oz) unbleached all purpose flour (spoon it, sweep it, don’t scoop it)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 ounces butter, softened
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/3 cup toasted walnuts
8 walnut halves for garnishing
Frosting:
3 ounces mascarpone cheese (or sub cream cheese) at room temp
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 to cup powdered sugar (more if desired)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 inch square metal pan with foil and spray foil with cooking spray.
Stir together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Using medium speed, beat in the egg, then stir in the sour cream and vanilla. Add the bananas and stir until well mixed.
Fold in the flour mixture (I use my heavy duty spatula) and stir just until blended. Fold in the walnuts. Pour batter in the pan, spread to the edges and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. The bars might not appear very brown, so make sure to use a toothpick test. Cool on a rack. When cool, prepare frosting
Prepare Frosting. Beat together mascarpone cheese and butter. Beat in vanilla. Add powdered sugar and stir until mixed, then beat until fluffy and light. Spread over cooled bars. At this point, you might want to chill the bars for a while to set the frosting. When the frosting has firmed up a bit, lift from pan by grasping foil. Trim edges if desired and cut into bars. Garnish bars with walnut halves. I trimmed the edges and cut out 8 bars.

How to make peach paste filling for cookies?
sorry i don;t have the recipe your lookinf for but well try to give what I have, here it is..

Why apricot and peach trees are not producing fruit in Northern California?
I have a 10 year old Apricot tree that has not produced fruit in 2 years. It flowers. Leaves start out curl and diseased but turn healthy
I also have a peach tree that produced fruit two years ago but did not fruit last year. It also flowered but leaves started curled and diseased and turned healthy. No fruit at all.
Do I need to spray? I fertilize with fertilizer spikes bought from home depot.
Why apricot and peach trees are not producing fruit in Northern California?
If I were to make an educated guess it would be that your problem is from two factors. The first is due to a lack of %26quot;chilling hours%26quot; during the past several years. Adequate chilling hours are a major requirement for deciduous trees to set a crop. Visit the following site to see how many chilling hours were and are in your area:
http://fruitsandnuts.ucdavis.edu/chillca...
The second contributor to your lack of fruit is probably due to the decimated wild honey bee population. Honey bees are the most important pollenizer for deciduous fruit, but due to mite infections have been severely depleted.
These two factors are why I believe you have not had any fruit the past two years.
You can try applying a foilar application of boric acid, this action may also increase your chances of setting fruit.
Usually during the late winter a dormant spray is applied to commercial orchards for pests (San Jose scale, borers, etc) but it sounds like your %26quot;organic%26quot; trees are healthy except for the lack of fruit.
Reply:last year it rained so much so late into spring that the bees weren%26#039;t able to come out and pollinize the blossoms, and also the rain and wind blew the blossoms off of the trees. your peach tree has something called curly leaf, there should be more on the internet about how to deal with that

Why would someone call themselves a Peach Bush?
I was driving through Ann Arbor and saw this lady on the street corner with a sign that said something like I%26#039;m a Peach Bush. It didn%26#039;t make any sense. I mean, don%26#039;t peaches grow on trees? This lady looked angry so it was kind of scary.
Why would someone call themselves a Peach Bush?
Of course, I%26#039;m sure you realize that the sign said %26quot;Impeach Bush.%26quot;
This is almost clever.

Are my peach faces breeding?
My peach face love birds have been acting different to their usaul selves. The darker one, which I believe is male, has become very protective. The lighter, believed to be female, has been ripping paper up and placing it into the home made breeding box ( I will replace this ASAP with a proper love bird breeding box). They have been spotted twice doing what seems to be hoping on the good foot and doing the bad thing.
Are my peach faces breeding?
It sounds like you%26#039;re gonna be a grandma, real soon. I wouldn%26#039;t bother changing the box, we%26#039;ve had our sets make nest in everything from a jacket pocket(we didn%26#039;t see that one coming) to small cardboard boxes we gave them. We just made sure they always had plenty of Cuttle bones and fresh paper. The male took care of her pretty much. The one time I changed the box after one of my little females started her nesting, she became egg bound and had to have surgery...very expensive, very dangerous. Good luck
Reply:all are positive signs of breeding behaviour in lovebirds, so things are looking good :)
Are you well educated on what%26#039;s required for breeding birds though? i suggest you do some research :)
Reply:they are going to breed
all the signs are there
you should be expecting eggs with in a few days depending on when they last mated

Will my peach tree bear fruit this year?!?
I planted a peach tree last summer that I bought from Lowe%26#039;s, it%26#039;s about six feet tall. It%26#039;s the beginning of spring time here in Missouri and there are a bunch of pink flowers opening up on my tree...does this mean that my tree will bear fruit this year?
Will my peach tree bear fruit this year?!?
6 feet tall for the second year is very tall.
When this tree goes dormant %26quot;Leaves fall off%26quot; please find a pruner and cut the tops back to an outward growing limb. If you don%26#039;t do this you will need a giraffe to pick the fruit in a few years because the low limbs will die from lack of light.
Yes, You will have a few peaches on your tree this year if it is as large as you say.
When the peaches get to the size of a nickel thin the peaches. Yes, pull some off to about one every 6 inches. Maybe farther apart like a foot for such a young tree.
I hope the bees pollinated the flowers on your tree. Not many bees around here anymore.
Reply:if it is a veriety taht bears fruit, because some dont. do you know what type it is. if it is a fruiting one then it it might fruit this summer
Reply:Most likely, but for the next few years, pick off most of the finished blossoms when the fruit has set (when you see the small round hump or beginnings of the peach appear). Will yield fewer but larger peaches.

Would a peach top go with pink uggs?
Specifically a light peach cashmere sweater, light/medium brownish-grey jeans and pink uggs. The jeans seem to go with each (top and shoes) separately. Otherwise, any suggestions for shoes - brown shoes seem to be clashing with the pants.

Allergic to peach fuzz and deoderant?
I%26#039;m allergic to peach fuzz and roll on deodorant such as RIGHT GUARD SPORT. I%26#039;m just wondering if there is any connection between the two. They%26#039;re both skin allergies and cause large red open sores, and itchy rashes. I%26#039;ve started using deodorant powder and the problem has virtually stopped. What would cause it?
Allergic to peach fuzz and deoderant?
Most deodorants have Aluminum chlorhydrate as the main ingredient for stopping the sweat. I gets warts from the use of powder (talc has aluminum in it also) so I use a crystal for deodorant.
As for the peach, no surprise there either. Pesticide/preservatives, take your choice are used. Try buying peaches from a local farm or greenmarket and see if it has the same reactions.

Apple and Peach?
You toss an apple horizontally at 9.2 m/s from a height of 2.7 m. Simultaneously, you drop a peach from the same height. How long does each take to reach the ground?
Apple and Peach?
Why would you do that to a perfectly good peach?
Seriously -- this is a classic problem.
The horizontal velocity is extraneous since they are both %26quot;falling%26quot; at 9.8 m/s^2 and will hit the ground at the same time, only the apple will be further away.
So surely you can figure the time it takes to fall 2.7 M.
Reply:Both will reach the ground at the same time. The fact that the apple has a horizontal velocity is not important. It is the vertical component of a velocity that counts in this situation.
The working formula is
S = VoT + (1/2(g)(T^2)
where
S = height at which both items started
Vo = vertical component of a velocity = 0
g = acceleration due to gravity (9.8 m/sec^2)
T = time for both items to reach the ground
Substituting values,
2.7 = 0 + (1/2)(9.8)(T^2)
Rearranging the above equation,
T^2 = (2)(2.7)/9.8 = 5.4/9.8 = 0.5510
T = 0.74 sec

Well, to look clean and neat, shave, even if it%26#039;s just shaving off peach fuzz; as far as when it will be more than peach fuzz, just try to be patient. For a lot of men, the beard doesn%26#039;t really develop its fullness until the late 20%26#039;s, or even 30%26#039;s.

Reply:It is a medical fact that shaving does not increase the thickness or color of hair. When a person shaves the end of the hair is flat and not pointed as it%26#039;s original shape, this makes the hair look thicker. As for the color of the hair this aspect is changed due to the amount of exposure to the sun, which has a bleaching effect. The hair comes from your genes and you will grow it when they say you can.
Reply:If your blond, you might just stay that way. fair haired men usually don%26#039;t have a lot of facial hair. just keep it neat.
Reply:shave it as often as required to keep up a neat appearance and be thnakful you don;t have to shave twice a day just to not look like an ape. As for when you might get better hair growth to replace the peach fuzz is up to your own personal schedule for puberty. It may come any time now or may delay for a few more years yet. Either way, be prepared to bcelebrate joining the rat race of every mornign shavers when it does occur.
Though to be honest I know one guy who is in late 20%26#039;s and still only shaves once every week or two. He thinks it%26#039;s way better than having to do it daily though his young appearance does mean he has to always carry Id to go for a drink - hehe.

How do you neutralize rotten peach smell in a rug?
We found peach juice that was spilled on a beautiful rug. We shampooed it and hung it out it the sunshine. It still smells like rotten peaches...help!
How do you neutralize rotten peach smell in a rug?
You need to use an active enzyme on the odor. Would recommend finding a Janitorial Supply house near you and ask them for carpet machine odor enzyme. They carry all sorts of mal-odor enzymes and inhibitors there, similar to what hospitals use, it will help remove the acid and spores in the carpet cause the odor, but may take more than just one treatment. I use it for pet urine smells, and works great. Good luck

Reply:try fabreeze, it smells like talc when you just spray it but when it dries, it doesn%26#039;t smell anymore and removes other smells.
Reply:Try febreze.
Shampoo again
Leave it out another couple of days
As a last resort, you can have it dry cleaned.

How do you grow a peach tree from the seed?
I ate a peach and want to grow a peach tree for myself, I was wondering if its possible to grow it by just putting the pit into soil and water? About how long does it take to actually see results above the soil? How many times should I water it? does it like to be in the sun at all times, or half and half? And does it even work?
I enjoy watching plants grow from seed and was wondering if it actually works.
thx and please give lots of details
How do you grow a peach tree from the seed?
You can. You might have to wait about 10 years to see any fruit on it.
You can get a dried seed to sprout and then get a little seedling but that is a long way from there to a tree. Keep it watered and in sun till it has several leaves on it. That is a seedling that can thrive after that point.

To make peach tea from scratch...?
We have a blooming peach tree in the back yard... do i just boil the leaves and strain the water?
To make peach tea from scratch...?
Most of the recipes call for peach nectar, so first that recipe
Peach Nectar
Ingredients:
2 lbs ripe peaches
2 cups water
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
juice and zest of half a lemon
Directions
Slice the peaches off the pits and coarsely chop them. Place a medium saucepot over high heat and add the peaches and water. Cook over high heat about 15 minutes, stirring often until the fruit has broken down. Add water as necessary to keep the fruit covered.
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the lemon. Pass the peaches through a sieve, pressing the fruit through with a spoon. This should yield about 3 cups of nectar. Add one-half cup of sugar for every cup of nectar. Let cool and stir into tea or lemonade, use it as a glaze for roasted or grilled pork or chicken, drizzle over fresh fruit or whatever else strikes your fancy. The nectar will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. Makes about three cups.
Peach Tea recipe
Makes about 6 servings.

Pour over tea bags and cinnamon sticks in heat-proof pitcher or container; stir briefly. Allow to steep for 4 to 5 minutes or until desired strength.
Strain tea into another container. Stir in sugar, lemon juice, and peach nectar; cool.
To serve, pour into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with lemon wedge or fresh peach wedge, if desired

Pam%26#039;s Peach Tea
Ingredients:
4-5 tea bags
2 cups of sugar (heaping)
1 gallon of water
3-4 bag ripened peaches
Directions:
Place 4-5 tea bags of choice in 1/2 gallon of hot water. The water does not have to be quite at the boiling point so coffee maker is perfect for this. Allow tea bags to sit in hot water for approximately 15-20 min. Pour hot tea into a 1 gallon pitcher. Add the sugar and stir thoroughly while still hot. Cut the peaches into halves or quarters, discarding the pits. Simply squeeze the cut peaches to a pulp, into the warm tea. Allow the squeezed fruit to float around in the tea. Fill with cold water and refrigerate. Serve over ice.

1 quart of boiling water
6 firm ripe peaches
1/2 tablespoon whole cloves

Whipped cream
Directions:

- Fit the pitcher into place for brewing. Turn the machine ON to brew.

Great food and great atmosphere. Last time I was there, I nearly had to be wheeled outta there on a gurney.
Reply:I am from Atlanta and grew up eating all flavors of cobbler. Besides my mom%26#039;s there is a restaurant called Mary Mac%26#039;s in downtown Atlanta area. Many of the bar-b-que restaurants feature a flavored cobbler each day of the week and most are pretty good. There is also S%26amp;S Cafeterias that will serve peach.
You have to remember that the better Georgia peaches, called Alberta%26#039;s, are shipped to the Northeast states. You have to go to the packing farms in middle and south Georgia that allow you to take from the conveyor belts what you want. They are only in season from mid-July to the first part of August, too late now, and are the sweetest Georgia grows.
The best peach cobbler%26#039;s are made with Alberta%26#039;s. When you call or go to a restaurant just ask if they are Alberta peaches in the cobbler. These are the very best we have for cobbler. It is also easy to make a good cobbler of any flavor at home.

Resonable prices for my ferret & peach-faced lovebird?
How much could I get out of a ferret %26amp; a peach-faced lovebird?
The ferret is a male albino and has been fixed...The peach-faced love bird--unknown gender. There both about 2- 2 1/2 years old..I was wondering how much do you think I could get out of them..I can%26#039;t take care of them anymore. Both of them are tame and friendly..Cages are included.. $40 dollor cages apiece was what I paid....? whats a good price? =]
Resonable prices for my ferret %26amp; peach-faced lovebird?
im not sure about the ferret, but they are around $100 right? also, he has been fixed so that adds more money, yet he isn%26#039;t a baby anymore. since hes coming with an cage that originally cost you $40, all together i would charge about $150.. and this is a very good deal..u might want to charge more, i have no idea how much getting a ferret fixed costs after all (only cats, which is very expensive and im guessing that a ferret would be more because its exotic) im just being nice, u should probably charge more. about a lovebird, they are $50, plus we%26#039;re talking a $40 cage, $90. and lovebirds live a long time, so he is still young. charge $80 or so. good luck selling them, and i hope they get good homes. it should be easier to sell them because they haev been tamed and friendly, thats hard to find.
Reply:Im in upstate ny, and ferrets here are about $100, albino or not, no difference
Reply:For the ferret $100 including a nice cage with it. The lovebird considerably less, $50 with cage unless it%26#039;s in a huge cage.
Reply:I would find a rodent and bird rescue, and surrender them. That way the organization will screen any potential owners and give them to quality homes. By selling them for a price, you never know who they are going to. You cannot set a price on a little life.

What color goes well with peach and black?
My bathroom is the old tile that is peach trimmed in black. I want to buy new rugs, towels, and shower %26amp; window curtains to replace the black that I have and I want to bring in another color. In the past I did peach and once green. Any ideas on a new color to add?
What color goes well with peach and black?
Purple! I did an old 50%26#039;s bath with exactly that peach and black combo tile and a deep royal purple just popped and looked elegant.
Reply:A nice brown or if you are bold a hot pink.

Reply:Good old white would go. Especially if you have white trim somewhere (baseboards?). Or maybe something like a sand colored tan.
Reply:Well, since you%26#039;ve already done green and green was my suggestion I just backed over before finishing reading, then cocoa. A mocha, the color of coffee with cream.
Reply:Creamy white
Reply:I would suggest a crisp clean white or a very light gray or a very pale light blue (almost white but just a slight tone of blue). Those three colors are in my opinion the best coordinates with black and peach. What a unique bathroom, you get to work with!

I have been looking for peach body spray everywhere, do you guys know where to find it?
Bath and Body Works doesn%26#039;t carry it, and today I went to The Body Shop and they said that they have peach stuff, but none of it was in body spray. I had my hopes up for a second, but it was smashed.
Oh, and I am on a budget, so peach body spray under $20 would be great!

Why Doesnt Peach Learn Some Self Defense so Bowser Will Stop Kidnapping Her?!?!?!?
seriously. if princess peach actually learned sum martial arts or self defense, she wont be kidnapped so friggin often by bowser and mario wont have to waste his time saving her all the time.
Why Doesnt Peach Learn Some Self Defense so Bowser Will Stop Kidnapping Her?!?!?!?
She does :D

And technically the Toads need to learn self defense, because Bowser captures them more often than Peach.
Reply:I%26#039;m guessing she seems to have a need to feel important or something or maybe she has a major bondage fetish and getting tied up and kidnapped really gets her rocks off.
Reply:Yeah, you%26#039;re right. I think she%26#039;s just one of those attention-starved girls that will do anything to get a man, even if it means allowing herself to be kidnapped.
Reply:Peach DOES, look at Super Princess Peach, Super Smash Bros, Super Mario (number something, I forgot sorry) and the Mario sports games. It%26#039;s just that Bowser is still too powerful.

Recipe for peach cobbler using white bread?
Does anyone have the recipe for easy peach cobbler that calls for white bread to be used as the cobbler? I have the recipe already, but I don%26#039;t know whether to layer the bread twice or use as a single layer. When I do two layers, the bottom layer gets puffy and soggy when it cools, but the top stays nice.
Thanks in advance and have a great day!
Recipe for peach cobbler using white bread?
here is another recipe, it sounds good, I%26#039;ve never tried it, but will now
INGREDIENTS
1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
5 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 tablespoons self-rising flour
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup margarine, melted
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place the peaches into the bottom of a buttered 9 inch square baking dish. Cut each slice of bread into 4 strips, and place over the peaches. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, egg and margarine; pour over the bread.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
Reply:If you insist on using bread to make cobbler for heavens sake one layer is the only way to go.
Would suggest you try regular receipts first this is about the simplist and best dessert to make, about every cook has their favorite.

Is there a recipe for peach schnapps cranberry sauce?
I%26#039;m looking for a cranberry sauce that has peaches, peach schnapps and either walnuts or pecans. I made it last year for Thanksgiving and it was a real hit but I can%26#039;t find the recipe anywhere. Do you know what the recipe is called or where I can find it?
Is there a recipe for peach schnapps cranberry sauce?
Peach Cranberry Sauce
2 (or more) Tbsp brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
1 Pkg (12 oz) fresh cranberries, washed %26amp; cleaned of stems
1/3 to 1/2 cup peach preserves
Juice from 1/2 fresh lemon
1/3 cup toasted almonds or walnuts
DIRECTIONS: While washing the cranberries made sure the stems are removed %26amp; the berry is ripe. Put the sugar %26amp; water in a 1 1/2 quart (or larger) sauce pan %26amp; bring to a slow boil. Stir once or twice to make sure the sugar is mixing with the water then just let it boil for about 5 minutes, make sure the sugar is dissolved. Add the cranberries to the water %26amp; bring to a moderate boil. Allow to boil, stirring from time to time, for about 15 minutes. The berries will %26quot;pop%26quot; as then open but will not splatter. You should continue to cook until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. The longer you cook the thicker the sauce will be %26amp; the softer the berries will be. When the sauce is the way you like it, turn off the stove %26amp; move the pot to a cold burner. Add the nuts, preserves %26amp; brown sugar. Stir the sauce to make sure ingredients are well mixed. Allow to cool. Transfer to a jar or bowl with a lid, when cooled to room temperature cover %26amp; refrigerate.
***I would substitute 1/2 of the water with peach schnapps!!
